Several people have asked about sending flowers/memorial donations, and Sasha emailed the following:

Women for Women International supports women in war-torn regions with financial and emotional aid, job-skills training, rights education and small business assistance so they can rebuild their lives.

Thank you to people who have already made contributions to Women for Women. We’ve heard of a couple of people sponsoring a woman in honor of Mau.

Also, I have set up a tribute fund for Mau with NAMI Missouri (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, Missouri ). This is the group that sponsors the Family to Family training and which Mau put so much of herself into these last few years.
